There’s a lot going on in the final stages of your pregnancy. The carer that you are working with will want to meet with you every two weeks, and every week right toward the end.
Births are usually at Middlemore Hospital.
All of our midwives provide primary care. If circumstances should require the assistance or intervention of doctors, the care becomes secondary care. At that point, many midwives will transfer care to the medical team.
